conversion and adaption of historic buildings with new build luxury homes
The Stamford Arms public house, located in Little Bollington, Cheshire, is situated in the green belt and remained vacant for over a decade. The proposed redevelopment removes the recent insensitive additions from the original public house and adds a distinctly modern extension to provide nine apartments. The existing stable building is converted into five mews style homes retaining and integrating historic features. Four new individual homes are proposed on the grounds of the public house. The new homes are contemporary in style yet have a visual synergy with the architectural language of the original building. The development sits within a bespoke landscape proposal.
