A development of 4 new luxury detached homes set within the Cheshire countryside on the site of a former equestrian centre. The new development makes reference to traditional farmyard clusters with the houses arranged orthogonally around a central shared space. The central courtyard provides the opportunity for car parking, shared amenity use and landscaping. The houses are orientated to maximise the potential for views out towards the surrounding countryside with large areas of glazing on the rear elevations. Taking cues from local traditional farm buildings, the houses provide a contemporary interpretation of the simple linear barn structure in red brick with steel and timber detailing and pitched slate roofs.
