The scheme is designed in direct response to the linear site and surrounding context. The form makes reference to the adjacent terraced houses with pitched roofs and projecting bay windows, which are orientated away from the existing houses to avoid overlooking. The staff and communal facilities are located at the entrance to the building and create the frontage on Willows Road. The apartments are located within gated landscaped grounds for privacy and security.
