The redevelopment of a disused industrial site in Bollington to provide 55 new homes with an eclectic mix of apartments, townhouses and large, detached properties. The proposal comprises high-quality homes with a unique sense of place, synergetic with its distinctive setting and site features. An existing mill is to be converted to residential use including the retention and enhancement of an historic wheelhouse. Existing culverts will be opened up and incorporated into the landscape proposals to create a unique and pleasant river walk throughout the site. New buildings adopt a bespoke contemporary design language, utilising traditional pitched roof forms to complement their surroundings.
