The proposal is for 17 apartments with a mix of 1 and 2 bed units with associated car parking and communal landscaped gardens. The proposed building seeks to reinstate the street frontage on Mottram Road to what is currently an uncharacteristic gap site. The form, mass and scale of the building makes reference to a large Victorian villa that once occupied the site. The linear building is carefully designed to avoid overlooking to neighbouring properties and has a stepped arrangement which optimises the sloping topography to present a 4 storey frontage on Mottram Road, reducing to 2 storeys at the rear.
